Albufeira Sol Hotel & Spa

A thoroughly enjoyable stay. The reception and service was excellent. The location and surroundings to the appartments was also excellent. In particular the grounds to the hotel were extremely well kept. Would not hesitate to reccomend these appartments to friends.

Very good food - which was not even expected. The hotel is very much liked! I want to go back.

It's a long way from the beach - but you can take the bus from the hotel, or you can walk. Walk to the ocean wasn't a problem.

The view to the sunset and sea from our great modern and well-equipped room was nice. The breakfast was exceptionally good with a wide array of meals.

The location was particularly good and unbeatable, on evening entertainment with easy access to several stores and lovely shops. The room was neat and immaculate, we had a living room, a balcony and good Internet.

Studio was a great, bigger then any previous studio I stayed in.

Hotel did not change the towels enough, once every four days is very poor service

Location was perfect for what we wanted. No need to use taxis at all.

Not for families at all as the pool is too deep with no LIFEGUARD at all. Its more for lively teenagers who take over the pool with rough play. Sheets and towels need to be changed a lot sooner than towels 4th day sheets 8th day.

The animation team was fantastic, especially with our two babies. The food was delicious, with something for everyone, and the kids' club was a life-saver for us parents to relax for a bit.

My kids wished there were more kid-friendly dining options.

We loved the fact that the hotel was so central.It was very near restaurants and bars and had a supermarket on the corner.It was also very near the Strip ,a big shopping area with bars and restaurants and was just a short journey by train to the old town.We also loved the fact that it was within easy walking distance to the beach.A Word of caution though, the old town is a little more expensive than the area around the hotel or the Strip.

There was entertainment there some nights but it would be great if it was provided everynight !

Very good value, Rooms are lovely, pool area clean.

Apart from the great night porter, staff seemed jaded, tired and unfriendly, as if it was the end of a very busy season, but its only the start....really we were not made feel welcome and our family felt we were in the way! Not a good feeling when you are your holidays.

Stayed in immaculate suite with air con.

Nice area around pool,and kept clean. Apartments are cleaned every day except Sunday. Staff are friendly,and food, and drinks not to dear.

The staff worked tirelessly, especially during meals, the dining area was always clean and well-stocked. The suite with pool view was spacious and comfortable.

the gym equipment was mostly unplugged.
